Woman Killed After Losing Control of Her Vehicle on the Clearview Expressway

A 33-year-old woman is dead after losing control of her vehicle on the Clearview Expressway early Tuesday morning and plowing into the back of a tractor trailer that was parked on the side of the highway.

Police said that Evelissa Santos Paulino, of Brooklyn, was traveling southbound near Exit 1 at a high rate of speed when she lost control of her 2018 Honda Accord at around 3 a.m. and collided into a parked 18-wheeler tractor trailer. Her vehicle went up in flames.

EMS were called to the scene, but she could not be saved. The investigation is ongoing.
