Watch: Gunfight Takes Place on Jamaica Street Tuesday

Police have released video footage of two men engaged in a gunfight that took place in Jamaica Tuesday.

The gunslingers were firing shots at one another in the middle of the street by 194-05 Linden Blvd. at around 12:30 p.m. The pair were both using cars to shield themselves from the bullets.

Cops responded to the scene after multiple people called 911 about shots fired.

The two men participating in the shootout got into their respective vehicles to flee the scene.

One man got into a silver Honda Accord to get away, only to come back to the scene to retrieve his belongings that he had dropped during the gunfight.

The second man fled in a black Acura 4-door sedan that was being driven by another unidentified individual.

There were no injuries reported, although a vehicle was damaged by stray bullets.
