Oct. 31, 2023 By Iryna Shkurhan Not long after school was dismissed, the Halloween festivities came to Bell Boulevard in Bayside on Oct. 31. Hundreds of kids decked out in their Halloween costumes went door to door to fill up their baskets with candy. But store owners were prepared.  And not long after, the large bowls they filled up with candy in preparation for trick-or-treaters were almost empty. Kids also weren’t the only ones clad in a range of fun and wholesome costumes. Adults and furry pets also brought their Halloween spirit to Bell Boulevard.
